In this *fused glass* wall piece, 158 richly overlapped squares are used to create each and every hue. Shards, shapes and frit in translucent colors overlap opaque colors, forming a rich palette that contours and accentuates the pear's form. When dissected or magnified, the piece becomes a study rich in color and nuance. When looked at from a distance, the pear takes shape, silhouetted by a dark background.
